Regarding your points :
1: CCP has a plan on where and how they want CCP Rogue to reveal his grand master plan for the future of dust. The CPM has been aware of this plan for several months now and been working closely with several of the key people involved from literally the point where things were being spitballed and before they became "the plan" (This can be seen as a good sign for Rouges' view of how important the CPM can be to making a solid product)
That said, we don't entirely agree with CCP that having Rouge behind a curtain in the meantime is necessarily a good idea. We've often encouraged him to come out and associate with the public without repeating his predecessors' mistakes and have him promise the moon every time he does. Small, casual interaction so that the public can share the CPM's faith that Rouge has what it takes to make Dust successful in ways that his predecessor(s) never could.
2: Getting you the minutes would largely be a waste of time. Literally everything in them is irrelevant now, as everything in it has changed. The only thing the minutes highlight now is how backwards and unorganized things were before CCP Rouge entered the picture.
3:
I don't even know where to start with this. Getting Devblogs out of Shanghai has -always- been worse than pulling teeth. Even about awesome, good news. They just don't like telling people things. This has been an unhealthy attitude perpetrated mostly by those who dwell under the guise of "brand" and their fingerprints can be found all over most of the horrible, confusingly bad aspects of dust that have irked so many of us. So... We can't make any promises here because it's almost impossible to make headway with the people standing in our way.
Lastly:
A summary post of what we're doing right now isn't really possible. We're working closely with future release planning, but beyond that it's just a bunch of NDA stuff that sounds arrogant and haughty to mention without it seeming like we're holding it over your heads. (Some of which we beg CCP to tell you guys anyways, and others we're busy screaming and begging them not to do)
I guess the only thing that isn't NDA that we are doing right now is telling CCP that a respec with 1.8 is pretty much the best thing they could do in terms of customer satisfaction.
(I will make an effort to finish my CPM year in summary blog post I've been writing over the past little while, now that I have time again) |
